Our story
My name is Jim Boet, I’m from the Netherlands, and I have a cow farm here in Moldova, in Edineț. We built our farm in 2012, we started our activity with 35 cows, and currently we have 600 animals. The biggest problem in Moldova is the availability of labor, so we decided, in order to develop and make our work easier, we need to digitize our business.
I bought a robot that pushes food. With its help, we save on diesel, labor, and we have a liter of milk more per cow, because they eat more. We purchased a separator, which makes our work easier. We are also the first in Moldova to install animal health sensors. We also have a Uniform management program, through which we obtain all the statistics and make plans.
By digitizing the farm, you can increase milk production, and milk means money. We are always open to supporting other farmers, we always have. If it works for us and we see the real benefits, then it means that other farms can also benefit from this privilege.
