Bronto
0,00 MDL
- Easy manure separation
- Biobedding
- Dry matter content: 30–40%
- 20% more storage space
- To make chemical fertiliser from organic manure, you first need to separate the manure. The Bronto separator is the ideal solution if you wish to use the solid fraction as biobedding on your farm.
Description
Bronto (biobedding)
Like the Torro, the Bronto separator is the ideal solution if you wish to use the solid fraction as biobedding on your farm. The Bronto can achieve a dry matter percentage (DM) of 30 to 40%, which makes the thick fraction ideal for use as bedding.
As well as a good DM, biobedding also has a pH value of around 6.5. This means there’s no need to add other agents to achieve a pH below 7 for optimal cattle bedding.
Additionally, you can reduce costs by not having to buy straw, sawdust, or other bedding materials. By creating your own biobedding, you can control what you use and ensure that you are not introducing bacteria from elsewhere to your farm.

Benefits
The benefits of using the Bronto:
- Inexpensive bedding: no expensive straw or sawdust required
- More comfortable for cows
- Animals stay cleaner
- Liquid manure is easier to spread
- Dry matter percentage 30–40%
Please note that it is important to avoid fermentation. Fermentation can be prevented by spreading the fresh thick fraction in layers.
The thin fraction is returned to the manure pit or stored in another manure storage area to be spread later. You can also use the Bronto in combination with the Gazoo nitrogen cracker. The thin fraction is then pumped over to the Gazoo, where the next phase of the process takes place.
Bronto technology
The Bronto has a (modular) cast-iron housing. A removable double filter housing with a quick-action connector and inspection openings in the inlet and filter housing make the manure separator easy to operate and maintain.
The Bronto and the Dino are the only types fitted with an end bearing on the screw press, which reduces wear on the filters. The filter screw press can handle liquids with a solid content of 0.5 to 15% DM.
