- Easy manure separation
- Stackable manure
- Dry matter content: 20–28%
- 20% more storage space
- Separating manure? The Dino separator separates slurry into a thin and thick fraction. This thick fraction is not suitable for biobedding, but it is stackable, which also has its advantages.
Description
Dino (stackable manure)
The Dino separator separates slurry into a thin fraction and a thick fraction. The dry matter content achieved by the Dino is lower than that of the Bronto and the Torro, so the thick fraction cannot be used as biobedding.
The resulting stackable manure is very rich in phosphates, so this product is ideal for spreading over the land as solid manure. If your farm has a manure surplus, the Dino offers the ideal solution. The phosphate-rich thick fraction is easier to transport, resulting in considerable savings in transport costs. You can dispose of the same amount of phosphate in a smaller volume.
The thin fraction is returned to the manure pit or spread on the land via other storage. Because it’s in liquid form, this thin fraction is easier to spread. There’s less need to mix the manure pit or dilute the manure by separating it.
Benefits (general)
- Lower transport costs
- Stackable manure
- More space in the manure pit (approx. 20% more storage space)
- Easier spreading of separated manure (liquid state)
Benefits of thick fraction
- Phosphate-rich product – approx. 4.4 kg/tonne
- Can be spread as solid manure
- Longer spreading period
- Improves soil structure
Techniek Dino
The Dino has a (modular) cast-iron housing. A removable double filter housing with a quick-action connector and inspection openings in the inlet and filter housing make the manure separator easy to operate and maintain.
The Dino and Bronto separators are the only types fitted with an end bearing on the screw press, which reduces wear on the filters. The filter screw press can handle liquids with a solid content of 0.5 to 15% DM.
The dry matter content achieved by the Dino is 22 to 28%.
Features
- heavy-duty gearbox
- clutch housing with open connection
- filter strainer housing with thin fraction outlet
- pressure housing with pressure strainer
- outlet control with adjustable discharge regulator
- worm screw bearing in the head

Benefits
- easy access and maintenance
- filter strainer and worm screw can be changed quickly and easilyl
- no need to remove plug
- fast restart of the separator
- no pressure on filter strainer
- reinforced press basket can withstand high pressure
- double screw press over the entire spiral length
- not affected by varying intake consistencies
Please note!
Separating manure is a form of manure processing. It may be necessary to keep additional records. Check whether this is necessary with the appropriate authority in your area.
